The South Boston Leadership Initiative is proud to offer Youth Fitness Bootcamps — intensive, structured fitness training sessions designed for young people who are ready to push their limits. Our bootcamps combine cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, agility work, and teamwork challenges in a format that builds not just physical fitness but also mental resilience and community spirit.
What to Expect
Our Youth Fitness Bootcamp is not your average gym class. Participants engage in high-energy sessions led by experienced coaches who know how to get the most out of young athletes. Every session is designed to challenge your body, clear your mind, and build the kind of toughness that carries over into everything you do.
Cardio Conditioning
Build endurance with interval training, sprints, and agility drills on South Boston's waterfront.
Strength Training
Develop functional strength through bodyweight exercises, resistance training, and progressive overload.
Flexibility & Mobility
Improve range of motion and prevent injury with dynamic stretching and mobility work built into every session.
Nutrition Education
Learn how to fuel your body for performance with practical, accessible nutrition guidance from our coaches.
Goal Setting
Set personal fitness goals and track your progress over the course of the program with coach support.
Team Challenges
Build camaraderie and leadership skills through group challenges that require communication and cooperation.

- Open to South Boston youth ages 12–18
- Completely FREE — no registration fees
- Sessions held at Farragut Park and surrounding areas
- Led by certified fitness coaches with youth development experience
- Small group format for personalized attention
- No prior fitness experience required
- All equipment provided — just bring water and athletic wear
